Manuscript Map

Manuscript maps are one of kind hand drawn maps. The most famous and valuable manuscript maps are from the log books and notes of famous explorers mariners.


This manuscript map was drawn in a notebook in1769 by Robert Slowley while serving aboard the British Navy  ship Druid.  The map shows the area of the Florida Coast between St. Marks and Cape San Blas.
Notes on the map show anchorages, depths of water, and some sailing instructions.
